The West Philadelphia Partnership's Task Force on Safety & Security is a broad-based coalition of community leaders and public safety and security experts throughout all of West Philadelphia.
The Task Force accomplishments:

• created base stations for area Town Watch communication networks
• purchased walkie-talkies for organized neighborhood town watch groups
• increased the community's awareness of safety issues
• distributed over 30,000 wallet-sized easy reference guides to frequently used emergency numbers.
