The explosion of communications technology and the World Wide Web has created a host of new ways to get and share information. This unprecedented opportunity has also been the source of unprecedented confusion and frustra tion for the educator. The West Philadelphia Public School Internet Access and Training Project was initiated to deal with this situation. The task of our dedicated team is to introduce teachers to some of the exciting possibi lities that the technological age off ers. The Internet Project is sponsored by the Center for Community Partnerships, in cooperation with the University of Pennsylvania's Information Systems and Computing , the West Philadelphia Improvement Corps (WEPIC), a program of the West Philadelphia Partnership, and Link2Learn.
